A Brooklyn charter school that needed to be seen in its own neighborhood. We filmed in the school with teachers and students, then put the school on bus shelters across East New York and in every mailbox in the zone.
Overview
Hyde Leadership serves East New York. Families nearby did not know how close the school was, or what happens inside it.
Approach
We filmed a company film inside the school with teachers and students, no actors. Stills from the shoot became four bus shelter posters that ran across East New York for eight weeks.
A postcard mailer went to every home in the school zone, with a map showing how close the school is and a QR code straight to applications.
Results
Film, shelters and postcards all carry the same faces and the same message, so a family sees the school at the bus stop, in the mailbox and online.
